Annie Lewis

Born and bred in Merthyr, married Shoni, William John Jones in 1916. They had 4 children and in the 1930s moved to Birmingham because of the depression hit the valleys. She worked for a time at Penfolds in Erdington, Birmingham a manufacturing company that made golf balls. In 1961 she and Shoni retired to Margate where her sister Jayne was living as was Shonis sister Glwadys. She moved back to Birmingham in 1970 to be closer to her children Ivor and Cyril. She suffered dementia in later years and passed away in 1975. She was cremated in Yardley Crematorium.
