Coral Barry

Born in London in 1928 and brought up until about the age of 9 in Merthyr Tydfil. Her mother moved to Birmingham after the death of her father James Barry in 1937. Attended Sparkhill Commercial School and left at 16 with secretarial skills. Was employed as a PA to the Chief Engineer at Rover Cars in Solihull during most of the 1960s. Worked until well into her 70s, still employed in secretarial work at a local accountants practice. Made the trip to New Zealand and back when she was 80!!
